Fractured

FRACTURED was formed in 2007 when former members of Remote left to pursue a heavier, more aggressive style of music. Gareth Scott and Nathan Trainor joined with Mark Kelly and with Carl Win, to become FRACTURED. Known for their intense and high energy performances, they have built a solid fan base that has culminated in the release of their debut album “No Fear Of Consequence” in 2009. Through persistence and hard work, they have shown that they are a band that has a hard work ethic and are not afraid to take chances.  

“No Fear Of Consequence” highlights the bands efforts to date and sees then in fine form with tracks that range from groove to an all out aural assault on the senses. FRACTURED draw on many and varied influences from the genre of metal, from classic thrash to the more modern metal sound, whilst still retaining a sound that is both original and unique. Songs such as “Darkest Green” and “Switch” have become essentials of their live set while newer songs such as “Fallen and Forgotten” and “Deepen The Wounds” are proving to become favourites in their own right.

What FRACTURED take the most pride in, is delivering a show that is something to be remembered. Their live sets have won over many people who may have never heard of them or who have just viewed them as another “metal” band. Their passion is for the live show and the ability to interact with the audience. Their live shows have seen them tour with the Heavy Metal & Hard Rock Society and play numerous shows in the Auckland region to varied audiences. With gigs booked for the New Year already, FRACTURED show no sign of slowing down and will be winning people over, one fan at a time. One thing is constant, the power of their live sets.
